I have worked as a wildlife biologist in Alaska for 20 years; flying, skiing
and hiking in both urban and wild areas. I can help you plan a personalized
trip – based on your interests and schedule – to make your Alaska visit

My Background
For most of the last 22
years I worked as a wildlife biologist in many parts of the state,
including the Aleutian Islands, Yukon Delta, north slope (Arctic
National Wildlife Refuge), Brooks Range, and Denali National Park. I
worked on research projects involving bears, wolves, musk oxen, moose,
caribou, Dall sheep, mountain goats, eagles, shorebirds and geese.

| For 10 years I worked as a
management biologist for an area encompassing the Susitna, Matanuska and
Knik river drainages and including the towns of Chickaloon, Palmer,
Wasilla and Talkeetna. The area includes portions of three major
mountain ranges (Alaska, Talkeetna and Chugach), and several state and
national parks. |

Guiding: $350 per day
plus expenses
Logistics planning, bear
safety discussions, slide shows: $40 per hour
