Golf in Alaska

Palmer has an 18 hole par 72 golf course (907-745-4653). Wasilla has Settlers Bay Golf Course, 18 holes (907-376-5466), and Sleepy Hollow Golf Course with nine holes, par 27, (907-376-5948).

Speedways

There are several speedways and raceways in the Valley. North Star Speedway (907-746-6825) is the official NASCAR raceway.

Bike & Kayak Rental

Eklutna Lake (a natural glacier fed lake and Anchorage's water source) is 12 miles long. Lifetime Adventures (907-746-4644) has kayak, bike and other rentals and guided nature walks.

It is approximately 35 minutes to Eklutna Lake from the Inn. The bike trail which goes around the lake to Eklutna is one of the best bike trails (level) in the area. Twin Peak Trail in the Eklutna area is a two or three hour hike and a good place to view dall sheep.
